Synthetic Fragrance And How You Can Avoid It...

Did you know that more than 95% of chemicals found in synthetic fragrance are derived from petrochemicals? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Petrochemicals can come from a variety of sources, such as coal and natural gas, however the majority of petrochemicals we use today are made from the stuff we put in our car. They are found in almost every skincare product found on department store and pharmacy shelves. Used mainly to extend the shelf life and also to disperse fragrance throughout a product. They are known hormone disruptors (they play havoc on your endocrine system) can cause skin sensitivity, headaches and respiratory issues.
I don't know about you but I certainly don't want to be using products in my home or on my body that contain petrol and I certainly don't want my kids exposed to this stuff. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

One big reason why I started using doTERRA essential oils was so that I get rid of synthetic fragrance in our home. I ditched perfume and make my own blends (that consequently also have incredible benefits to my emotional and physical health). I then swapped out toxic cleaning products by making my own. I ditched all my pretty candles and started using a diffuser. Then, I tackled my skincare routine and swapped over to nurturing base oils enriched with essential oils. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

All this took place in my first year of getting my wholesale customer account. It didn't happen overnight. I made small changes, over time that has resulted in MASSIVE, sustainable change. These changes can be made easily. They are sustainable. It just requires you to take the first step.

If you would like to find out how you can obtain doTERRA essential oils at wholesale prices, join my oils family, please check the ‘essential oil’ and ‘workshop’ page of this website. Alternatively, drop me an email and I will be happy to chat xx
